Sometssing about Chinese ..
If you look tired , they serve you with a glass of water or juice immediately .
Women ,very kind , very understanding , very helpful , fashionable (read - extremely fashionable , or may be pretend to , everyone look the same :-) atleast to me ) . Drive less cars and more buses *#$$!!
Men , Like to take up all the physical work , even if it is women's work .How chivalric , gentlemen!
Children, some percentage are like why the h*** are they here . Some are like angels , yet all look the same . God , looks are so deceiving !
People , Old , or young , one can blindly trust them even if lost , you wouldn't be ripped off by a taxi or burgled anywhere . Still yet to know how this system is so much strongly in place .And ya , if you happen to pass by a middle aged man or even a woman acting crazy or playing with others , then I can assure you they AREN'T DRUNK . They are or rather ..act funny :-)
Language , Unless you are in a city like Shanghai or Beijing , no mutli-lingual issues . But otherwise , having chinese texts for your english ones are very necessary .
Climate , South of china almost like moderate climate . North of china , in extreme climate , summer , sun rises at 4.40am and sets by around 7.20 pm . In winter , can expect snowfalls , but very mild though temperatures drop to -25 ~-30 deg C .
Environment : Very clean
Traffic : Left hand driving , on right side of the roads .

A non- nonvegetarian experience
As I am seated , a smiling woman comes up to me ," Nihaou !How may I assit you ?". I said ,"Nihaou ,I need some vegetarian food please !" She offeres me some sandwich with some green toppings and says "iga suu da" (meaning this is vegetarian ).I open out the sandwich and find some flesh like substances as well as some tomoto look-a-like capsicums and some green stuffs.Any plant with root , stem , branch ..would make my vegggy delicacy .
Woa , as if understanding my inner battle , my chinese colleague immediately confirms affirmatively . The detective in me was waiting for a green signal to find out more , but I felt it would be too much for my colleague to gulp it , who jumps up if he gets any hint of me eating any non-vegetarian food . I ate ,except THAT , rapidly not tolerating my hunger . And then , asked him why he said so .Pat came the response , "It is Salmon and it is vegetarian "!!!
For sea foodies , seafood is obviously a veg' but that cannot change the definition of a VEGETABLE !

Beautiful Letter
Beautiful letter written by a father to his son!
Use this in your teachings to your children.
I am writing this to you because of 3 reasons
1.Life, fortune and mishaps are unpredictable, nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early.
2. I am your father, and if I don't tell you these, no one else will.
3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot
of unnecessary heartaches.
Remember the following as you go through life
1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother and I. To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it and be thankful, and ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.
2. No one is indispensable, nothing in the world that you must possess. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.
3. Life is short. When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.
4. Love is but a transient feeling, and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness. Don't over exaggerate the beauty and sweetness of love, and don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.
5. A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life. One can go from rags to riches, but one has to start from some rags!
6. I do not expect you to financially support me when I am old, either would I financially support your whole life. My responsibility as a supporter ends when you are grown up. After that, you decide whether you want to travel in a public transport or in your limousine, whether rich or poor.
7. You honour your words, but don't expect others to be so. You can be good to people, but don't expect people to be good to you. If you don't understand this, you would end up with unnecessary troubles.
8. I have bought lotteries for umpteen years, but I never strike any prize. That shows if you want to be rich, you have to work hard! There is no free lunch!
9. No matter how much time I have with you, let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life .

This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!!! Make sure you read to the end!!!!!! Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16.. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

You are a master piece!
Nice article ..
A plum once said, just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover.Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself of your originality.
You need to think good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stop down in order to gain recognition. Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest glory - your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhi was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you the way you are, is not your world.There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king / queen by just being yourself. Find that world... in fact, that world will find you.What water can do, gasoline cannot and what copper can, gold cannot. The fragility of the ant enables it to move and the rigidity of the tree enables it to stay rooted.
Everything and everybody has been designed with a proportion of uniqueness to serve a purpose that we can fulfill only by being our unique self. You as you alone can serve your purpose and I as I alone can serve my purpose. You are here to be you... just you.There was a time in this world when a Krishna was required and he was sent; a time when a Christ was required and he was sent; a time when a Mahatma was required and he was sent; There came a time when you were required on this planet and hence you were sent. Let us be the best we can be. Don't miss yourself and let the world not miss you.In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinite of time to come, there will be no one like you. Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated. You are original. You are rare. You are unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece... your Master's piece. Celebrate your UNIQUENESS!
